1.The old cemetery was destroyed. The matzevot were uprooted and the ground was built over and used as a children's playground and picnic area. The tziyun over his kever was put up only in recent years and marks an approximated location — it is not a surviving original stone.
2.He was rav of Slavuta and founded the Slavuta printing house, and it is the old cemetery you want, not a later one.
3.Three related kevarim are elsewhere and should not be looked for here: his father Reb Pinchas of Korets is buried in Shepetivka, and his sons Reb Shmuel Avraham Abba and Reb Pinchas of Slavuta have their own separate burial sites.
4.Because the ground was levelled, confirm the exact spot with someone local before you go out.
5.SURVEYED COORDINATES. The map point on this listing is the cemetery itself, measured on the ground by the ESJF survey — not a town centre. Where a kever is inside an ohel it will still need finding once you are through the gate, but the gate is now something you can navigate to.
