1.YOU GET IN BY WALKING BETWEEN THE GARAGES. The ground is next to 2 Zagirna Street and the way in is a footpath between garages — there is no drive-up gate, and a car will not get you closer than the street.
2.THIRTY STONES AND TWO OHELS. That is the whole of what stands. Almost everything else was taken after the war, so the ohels are not landmarks among matzevos — they are very nearly all there is, which makes them easy to find and makes the ground quick to walk.
3.IT IS FENCED AND SOMEBODY LOOKS AFTER IT. The metal fence runs about two hundred and fifty metres around, and the survey names Meylekh Sheykhet as the man who maintains it — which in this region is rare enough to be worth saying.
4.Reb Tzvi Hirsch was born in Sambir in 1763 and was niftar here on 11 Tammuz 5591 — the twenty-second of June 1831. Zidichov and Komarno are one line; if you are travelling to Komarno for the Heichal HaBracha, this is the town it came from.
5.SURVEYED COORDINATES. The map point on this listing is the cemetery itself, measured on the ground by the ESJF survey — not a town centre. Where a kever is inside an ohel it will still need finding once you are through the gate, but the gate is now something you can navigate to.
