1.The matzeva you will stand at is not the original one. The cemetery was wrecked in the war and again afterwards, and Reb Yisroel Meir Gabbai's Agudat Ohalei Tzadikim put up a new monument over the Rebbe's grave, built on top of what was left of the damaged original.
2.The cemetery is at ul. Waleriana Łukasińskiego 53, on the edge of town. Alongside the surviving and re-set matzevot there are two monuments built out of concrete and matzeva fragments, designed by a descendant, Moshe Zyslander, after Poland came out from under communism.
3.Volunteers from the Association of Descendants of Jewish Central Poland (ADJCP) and the American Matzevah Foundation have been clearing and restoring this cemetery since 2019, with work weeks most summers. Between them the ground can be badly overgrown, so wear proper shoes.
4.Contact ADJCP or ask in Żychlin before you set out, and confirm on the ground exactly which marker is the Rebbe's when you arrive.
5.SURVEYED COORDINATES. The map point on this listing is the cemetery itself, measured on the ground by the ESJF survey — not a town centre. Where a kever is inside an ohel it will still need finding once you are through the gate, but the gate is now something you can navigate to.

Yahrzeit: כ״ו אלול · 5639 / 1879

Son of Reb Zelig and raised in Łowicz, he learned by Reb Aryeh Leib Tzintz and Reb Moshe Yehuda Leib Zilberberg and was a leading disciple of Reb Simcha Bunim of Peshischa — Zychlin is a Peshischa branch, and he founded the court. He is Zychlinski; do not confuse him with Reb Shmuel Abba Twersky of the Chernobyl line, a different man entirely. His only son, Reb Moshe Nesanel, succeeded him.
