Prague Old Jewish Cemetery

  • The cemetery is entered only as part of the Jewish Museum in Prague circuit; the entrance adjoins the Pinkas Synagogue on Široká. Men cover their heads.
  • Closed on Saturdays (Shabbat) and Jewish holidays. Hours approx. 9:00–18:00 (summer) / 9:00–16:30 (winter).
  • The Maharal's tomb is a pilgrimage site; visitors leave pebbles and kvitlach.
